Coach

I have benefitted from a fruitful career as a 5 year All-Star University Volleyball player. At the height of my career, I led the OUA in kill percentage (305 kills) and blocks (495 blocks). I now seek opportunities to give back to the volleyball community. I wish to inspire, train and coach the next generation of University volleyball prospects.

This is my 3rd season as Head Coach with the Mavericks. Last year I coached the Rascals provincial 14UG team, collecting 2 gold and 2 silver OVA tournament medals. The year prior I was a Coach at the Regional Training Center. Prior to joining the Mavs, I coached University of Ottawa Futures Gee Gees volleyball camps and conducted private hitting clinics.

I have coached boys and girls volleyball for over 30 years at both elementary and high school as well as club level for Forest City Volleyball Club.I have also coached at many volleyball camps over the years.I have won many championships at both elementary and secondary school levels which include city finals, WOSSAA, and OFSAAI have also coached many Forest City volleyball teams to medals at Provincials and Nationals.

We want players to experience enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment that comes from skill development and the pursuit of excellence. As a result, we are committed to providing players with the skills and tools to achieve their goals.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
