Join Nike Rugby Camps this May long weekend in Edmonton, Alberta! This co-ed camp will run from August 3-5, 2024 for 12-17 year olds of all abilities. This camp offers accelerated learning of current and effective rugby skills in a fun and positive environment. Learn the best techniques from the professional and international game to get the best results with your passing, handling, positioning and kicking. Experience unparalleled insight into the necessary steps involved in developing at your own pace from a junior to senior player, and on to professional/full international standard.

Stephen Thomas
Camp Director

Stephen boasts a 17 year professional rugby career at the elite level of both Rugby League and Rugby Union.

A dual code jnr Wales international and full Wales international in rugby league by the age of 19 after turning professional at just 16 years of age, Stephen marked his debut for Wales with a try vs Ireand.

Stephen is a winner of 10 National Championship medals and numerous personal accolades across England, Wales, Australia and France.

A qualified strength & conditioning coach and level 2 rugby union and rugby league coach who owns and operates Pro-X Rugby Academy, he was recently on the Canada Ravens inaugural World Cup coaching staff.

Julia Ireland
Coach

Julia has played for Calgary Rams in the Alberta Cup since 2013, she is a representative with the Prairie Wolfpack provincial team that competed against BC Bears in 2022, she also represented Lethbridge Pronghorns University in 2014/15.

Julia is goal kicking play maker with a solid defence who is keen to inspire more girls to play the game.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their owninstructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, camperswill be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age andability.

REGISTRATION PACKET

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, campspecifics, and a list of things to bring, will be emailed to all campers priorto their camp date.  If you have any questions/inquiries please emailinfo@sportscampscanada.com.
