Adriano Catena is a former professional basketball player with over 10 years experience coaching high school, university and professional aged athletes. Adriano holds a BA Communications degree and has been certified as a Mental Performance Training Coach. He is currently the Director of Operations and Head Coach at The Vancouver Basketball Academy ™ and an Assistant Coach at the UBC Women’s Basketball program. Adriano is passionate about coaching and inspiring people around him to be the best version of themselves.

Megan Pinske is a former university, Canadian National Team and professional athlete with over 12 years’ experience coaching both collegiate and high school aged athletes. Megan holds a Masters of Coaching degree from the University of Alberta and has coached with three Provincial Basketball Organizations; BC, Alberta & Saskatchewan. She is currently the VP of Community Impact at The Vancouver Basketball Foundation™. Megan is passionate about teaching and inspiring young athletes to love the game and stay active.

Sophie Swant spent most of her life in the Lower Mainland, being born and raised in North Vancouver and pursuing a basketball career and a business degree at Simon Fraser University. From there, she went to play overseas while earning an Honours MSc in HR Leadership and Coaching from Northumbria University.

Passionate about coaching, development, and community, Sophie has coached a variety of ages, genders, and levels. She currently works as the Manager of Programs and Special Projects for The Vancouver Basketball Foundation™
