Nike Baseball Camp at Moncton Sports Dome

Gerry LeBlanc is the Head Instructor of the Moncton SportDome Baseball Academy and oversees both the Elite and Advanced Baseball Programs offered by the sport facility. Aside from his responsibility for these two programs, he is also instructing the Pitching clinics that we are offering as part of baseball training programs.

His many years of coaching experience, at all age categories, and training with high performance programs at the local, provincial, national and international level, is an asset to our programs. His knowledge of the technical skills of baseball received recognition by Baseball New Brunswick and Baseball Canada as a Coach Developer and Master Coach Developer under the National Coaching Certification Program. For over three decades, he has instructed coaches across the country under this program offered through the Coaching Association of Canada.

His knowledge and experience in the development of baseball skills of athletes did not go unnoticed, having been invited as a Guest Coach with Canada’s National Junior team on two occasions as well as a Guest coach with the Toronto Blue Jays at their Minor League training facility in Dunedin Florida. His attendance there earned him the role of Associate Scout for the Atlantic region for that organization. He was also invited and attended the World Children Baseball Fair in Japan as one of their baseball instructors.

His approach and non-traditional teaching methods has assisted athletes to learn and improve their skills and assisted with their success as athletes. The players strengths and weaknesses are quickly identified and through technical drills, a plan is in place to train them for success.

Our baseball programs successes are as a result of providing quality training to our athletes and he has been instrumental in providing this service to our facility.
