Riley Vandenborn
Coach

Riley Vandenborn is an experienced educator and volleyball coach based in Chatham, with a strong background in both high school and competitive-level coaching. With many years of coaching experience, he has dedicated the past several years to developing athletes at both the high school and competitive levels. Riley has worked with both girls’ and boys’ volleyball programs, as well as a variety of teams within the Chatham Ballhawks Volleyball Club, where he has fostered a passion for the sport in athletes of all skill levels.

Riley’s coaching philosophy focuses on providing opportunities for all players in the community to excel. His primary goal is to equip youth with the skills necessary to pursue higher levels of competition, while also instilling a lifelong love for the sport. Through his coaching, he strives to create an environment where athletes not only improve their technical abilities but also develop a positive and lasting relationship withvolleyball.

We want players to experience enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment that comes from skill development and the pursuit of excellence. As a result, we are committed to providing players with the skills and tools to achieve their goals.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
