Join us this Winter Break 2025 for the Nike Soccer Camp Whitby held at the Canada Athletic Performance Centre! This camp offers campers aged 7-15 the opportunity to improve their soccer skills in a fun and supportive environment. Our expert coaches will guide players through technical and tactical training, helping them develop essential skills for both individual play and team strategy. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, you'll gain confidence and improve your game while making new friends along the way. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn from the best! ‍

This Nike Soccer Camp is a 5 Day Camp running Monday - Wednesday (December 29,30,31, 2025) and Friday & Saturday (Jan 2,3, 2026).

  • Instruction from Certified Coaches
  • Private Indoor Facility
  • Technical training: ball control, first touch, passing and shooting
  • Tactical training: combination play, 1v1 attacking and defending, team defending
  • Every camper receives Nike Sports Camps T-shirt and other prizes

Coaches

Ron Clarke
Camp Director

Coach Ron is currently the Technical Director FC Durham Academy and is also involved in Soccer Development with the Oshawa Kicks Soccer Club. Ron first began by coaching at the Detroit Rockets Camp at the age of 21. He has a National A coaching license and a Professional Football Scouts certification and has additional coaching experience with the following League 1 Ontario Teams:

  • 2015: Durham United Mens Assistant Coach
  • 2016: Durham United Women’s Head Coach
  • 2016: named assistant coach to League 1O All Star Team
  • 2017: Toronto Blizzard Women’s Head Coach

EDUCATION

Coach Ron decided to pursue his post-secondary education at the University of Windsor and earned a BA degree in Social SC.

PLAYING CAREER

While Ron was attending the University of Windsor, he was an active member of their Soccer Team. He also has playing experience with the Quebec Provincial Team and the Detroit Rockets NSL.

FUN FACTS

One of Ron's most memorable moments as a coach was when he led his Michigan Gators U15 girls team to win the Michigan State Cup Championship.

When Coach Ron is not at the field, he enjoys spending most of his free time playing with his twin sons Ashton and Braylen.
