2025 Nike Basketball Camp at Kings Court Etobicoke

Join the Nike Basketball Camp at Kings Court Etobicoke for Summer 2025, where aspiring athletes aged 7–15 can take their basketball skills to the next level. Led by Jeremie Kayeye, the Lead Assistant Coach for the Toronto Metropolitan University Men’s Basketball Team, this co-ed camp offers full-day and half-day options during  summer 2025.

Taking place in the energetic atmosphere of Kings Court Etobicoke, the camp provides a supportive environment for players of all ability levels to build confidence, master essential basketball techniques, and improve teamwork. The Complete Skills Camp focuses on athletic development, refining fundamental basketball techniques, and enhancing positional skills—whether you play as a post, wing, or guard. Campers will also engage in dynamic drills and competitive games, helping them grow both as individuals and teammates.

Highlights include

  • 3+ hours dedicated daily to individual skill development
  • Highly competitive 3 on 3 tournaments and 5 on 5 play

Zach Budd
Camp Director

Zach Budd is an experienced and passionate sports coach, serving as the director of Nike Sports Camps Toronto and a dedicated tennis coach. With a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to athlete development, Zach has become a respected figure in the sports community.

As the Nike Sports Camp Director, Zach oversees a variety of sports programs, ensuring high-quality coaching and a fun, supportive environment for athletes of all skill levels. His leadership extends across multiple sports, where he directs and supervises camps that focus on skill-building, teamwork, and personal growth.

In addition to tennis, Zach also directs camps for the following sports:

  • Soccer
  • Volleyball
  • Pickleball

Zach’s coaching philosophy is rooted in empowering athletes to reach their full potential while fostering a love for sports. His ability to work with players of all ages has earned him recognition as a coach who truly cares about the development and well-being of each participant.

Jeremie Kayeye
Head Coach

Jeremie Kayeye was named as the lead assistant coach to the Toronto Metropolitan University Men's basketball team in July 2020. Before TMU, Kayeye spent four years as the head coach and director of basketball operations with TRC Academy and the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association. Kayeye also coached team Ontario's U15 to a silver medal at the 2019 Canadian Championships.

Chinenye Ndu
Coach

Meet Chinenye (Coach Ney)! With a law degree from Carleton University and a background as a retired basketball player, semi-professional cheerleader, former recreational league basketball referee, and Mini Ballers basketball instructor, Chinenye brings a wealth of experience to the court. As a current certified Fascial Stretch Therapist working with athletes from youth to professional leagues like the CFL and G-League, Chinenye is passionate about promoting pain-free living and enhancing sports performance. She's eager to share her expertise and enthusiasm for sport and athletic development with campers, empowering them to reach their full potential on and off the court.

2025 Camp Information

  • Summer Dates: Weekly camps from June 30 to August 29, 2025
  • Age Group: Co-ed, 7–15 years old
  • Camp Type: Full-day and half-day options
  • Schedule:
    • Full-Day: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Morning Half-Day: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Afternoon Half-Day: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Check-In: Opens 15 minutes before camp start time

Additional Information

  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring a lunch and snack each day.
  • Skill Levels: Suitable for beginner to high-performance players.
  • Extended Care:
    • Morning: 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM
    • Afternoon: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
    • Fee: $65 + HST per week (morning or afternoon care) or $110 + HST for both.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
